Aimee Keller, Proprietor
My Name is Aimee Keller and I established Barkingham Palace grooming parlour in 2007. Since then I have cared for and pampered many pets over the years and built strong friendships with clients. All my life I have been an animal lover and having grown up in a family environment where from an early age I was taught that the family pet was in fact a family member.
I have had many pets over the years from Hamsters, Guinea pigs, Birds, fish, Cats and Dogs. Each and every one had a special place in our home. I’m very fortunate to share our home still with several cats and one larger than life Chihuahua called Levi, despite his miniature size his personality gives him a larger than life personality who keeps us all on our toes.
In recent years I have experienced the loss of my First dog Phoebe who came to me from a animal rescue. Phoebe still holds a special place in my heart and is still dearly missed after our 18 year companionship. More recently we lost our other dog Heidi who as a scamp gave us 15 years of devotion and a slightly younger cat Bluebelle who had some health issues. It was our personal experience when our dearly loved pets passed away, that left us feeling there must be a better way and a kinder way for those who lose their pets.
From each of these personal experiences I have gained an understanding that will enable me to help families through this loss of their pets and provide a high quality compassionate service treating each and every pet with the care & dignity that they deserve as valued family members.

How Peaceful Paws Pet Crematorium Came About
In late 2019 when my clients were telling me of their experiences of having their pets cremated it became obvious to me that there was a need for a more local pet crematorium to help provide a service that was quicker to support their as it took some weeks from when their pet passes away until they got the remains back thus lengthening the process and drawing out the final closure. So in early 2020 I started to look into this and researching the establishment of a Pet Crematoriums. From that point and after extensive talks with my husband and family Peaceful Paws went from an aspiration to now being established in Ennis. Attaining the necessary Planning permission and the licences has been time well spent, ensuring that I can come up with the perfect plan to care for pets on their final journey, giving them a send-off with the care, compassion & dignity that they deserve.
Peaceful Paws will be a family run business and will guarantee each client will be cared for in a respectful and supportive manner, we are here to guide you through the whole process. Having experienced the loss of a beloved pets we know exactly how to care for you your pet.
